Candida Or Lyme?

What Symptom Is This, candida, lyme, metals? Hi everyone,

I'm hoping you can help me determine what causes the following symptom, i.e. candida, lyme, metals?

Let's say you wanted to book a flight to Aspen, Colorado but instead kept saying Anaheim, California.

Here's another example. A close friend whom you've known for years. You introduce him and state his profession as Professor of Marketing when he is a Professor of Journalism. You've known this, yet it has to be corrected each time.

In both cases, it's not like you catch yourself mis-speaking, but you say it again and again without realizing your mistake? I think this has something to do with the brain. But is it Lyme's affect on the Brain or Candida toxins or mercury's affect?

One more thing I thought of: while reading a book outloud, you miss many words or insert new words which change the meaning of the sentence. However, it isn't apparent to you the reader, only to the listeners as they follow along in their books a syou read.

Does anyone know what these might be examples of?

Thanks in advance,

Re: What Symptom Is This - candida, lyme, metals?
I ran into a freind the other day and couldn't think of her name for a minute. I was going to introduce her to the woman I was with and I just went blank. I just started talking and her name came out of my mouth thank God. It was very strange. Nobody was any the wiser, but it was not cool.

Re: What Symptom Is This?
Nice recovery there. It's scary, though.

Re: What Symptom Is This?
Pace, this was taken from "The five stages of candida", don't let it scare you. I had symptoms like that in the past, I got to the point where reading and comprending was almost impossible.

The Third Stage of Candida may involve MENTAL and BEHAVIORAL RESPONSES: Inability to concentrate, not being able to read or follow a television program or carry on a hobby, serious forgetfulness, memory loss, mental confusion, not being able to think of the words to say something, switching around of words and letters when trying to speak and/or write something, loss of previous skills (such as how-to-type or how-to-play-the-piano, etc.) These frightening problems may often lead to "HOPELESS CRYING" SPELLS, SEVERE DEPRESSION, SLEEP DISORDERS (may include insomnia, confusion dreams, nightmares, apnea, and not feeling rested or restored after sleep), IRRATIONAL THOUGHTS, UNUSUAL FEARS, PHOBIAS, PANIC/ANXIETY ATTACKS, MUSCLE TWITCHING, IRRITABILITY, VIOLENCE, AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR, and even EPILEPTIC SEIZURES and THOUGHTS OF DEATH OR SUICIDE. Sometimes people with these symptoms are labeled "Mentally ill", thought to be suffering from manic-depressive Psychosis or Schizophrenia. These desperately sick patients are sometimes turned over to the care of a psychiatrist or hospitalized in a mental institution. They may be given antidepressants, tranquilizers, lithium, etc. to lighten the mental symptoms. . But the CAUSE may be overlooked and the patient is not CURED on a long-term basis.

Re: What Symptom Is This?
Thanks Tom. Glad your not experiencing the symptoms any longer. Did the zapper reverse your symptoms or the oxygen or something else???
Re: What Symptom Is This?
Pace, the Zapper did help with the hyphae in my skin but for clearing a systemic infection, I think its over rated. I think most of us have made a big mistake by not focusing our attention on what caused the problem and where is it located. The subject should be "DYSBIOSIS" and the overgrowth of candida is just one result of dysbiosis. Why I got off track and looked at the gut as a side issue, I don't know. I wasted a lot of years thinking I could take something to kill off the bad critters and everything would get back to normal, its not this simple, once the gut gets out of whack, it can take years to recover depending on the severity of the problem. I also wasted a lot of time looking for the magic bullet or the guru who could give me all the answers, its not to be had, you know that, cures are all over the place. The answer to this is getting the gut back into a healthy state and all the other problems will take care of themselves. The immune system is shot trying to deal with this but once the gut is functioning normally the immune system will recover and do the job of clearing candida from outside the gut, it might be slow but what else do we have? I posted an article yesterday about how the Lymph system is connected to the gut and how this affects the immune system, read that, this explains to me how the candida has gotten into my Lymph system and moved to other areas.------------How do you get the gut back into shape? Cleanse, cleanse and do some more cleansing including liver cleansing, increase gut motility, keep ph between 6.4 and 7, take lots of wholeleaf green foods, Chlorophyll is one of the best antifungals out there, load up on the good critters and include Lactobacillus GG, this bacteria has been clinically proven to adhere and enhance the growth of other good bacteria and I'm now thinking that increased Methylation is very beneficial especially in some people, try taking SAMe and see how it works for you, for me it has greatly improved brain function in just a few days. If you want to confirm that Dysbiosis is the problem here is a site I found that might help, don't know anything about this person but looks good.

Re: What Symptom Is This?
What an interesting symptom! But I can see that it may cause your friends to wonder if you (or is it your symptom?) really know them.
You should ask in some of the DAN lists (defeat autism now), they know a lot about the brain. Something wrong with the connections in the language centre -like afasi, only it changes words and doesn't forget them totally.

Re: What Symptom Is This?
I've never heard of afasi. Interesting that it's the connections in the language center which are affected. Mercury, lyme and candida all can affect the brain.

By the way
I always use to mess up words when I am ill/tired, but usually words like: I say train instead of bus, green instead of red etc. Complicated words i can't remember at all!
I remember when my grandmother was senile at 95 after many years of painkillers. She thought it strange that the embroidered sunflakes on the table cloth didn't melt. So she was not as a child who doesn't recognise a stylised picture of something.

Re: What Symptom Is This?
Pace, there is no doubt that candida can do this, along with other things I'm sure. When I read outloud, I get dizzy and confused. I also have trouble holding a telephone conversation for very long. And when I write, I always mix up the letters, like my brain is working overtime. Very strange.

Re: What Symptom Is This?
Hi Brett,

This is my 2nd attempt to post this. Don't know where the first one went.

I think it is very strange, too. I really wish I could zero in on exactly what causes this. Maybe then there would be an anti-dote for it.

BTW, I'm really liking the Rejuvenative Saurerkraut. It's expensive when I consider it a food. It's cheap when I think of it in terms of a good probiotic.

Re: What Symptom Is This?
Hi Pace, the cultured vegetables are really helping me too. If I could just clean up my diet, I would be in good shape. It's too bad you can't find more of a variety, Deep Root has about five different kinds at my HFS.

Re: What Symptom Is This?
I've had some concerning mental issues as well, and I assumed it was related to a leaky gut, where the barrier between your food and your body doesn't function as it shoud, and you are basically being poisoned through your g.i. tract.

Re: What Symptom Is This?
So, if it is through the G.I. tract, then Omega threes would be in order or possibly glutamic peptides???

Re: What Symptom Is This?
Supplements of any kind have not been too much help to me. I've been focusing mostly on diet, exercise, and keeping my liver happy.
