Breathing Problems
In reading your "symptoms" post you mentioned breathing problems. I had exercise inducted asthma for 10 years and shallow breathing as I could not really take a deep breath (all of which caused less oxygen to the body and more toxins). I have recovered greatly from all these symptoms as my SI Joint issue is finally being recognized and treated. It could be another structural problem which is causing this. My SI Joint problem went undiagnosed for 10 years and I got to the point I was almost paralayzed and screamed everytime I would bend over. Now I go to a wonderful PT and he had me blowing up the balloon as I described in the post to Pace which really helped my lung capacity. Then I had this wonderful Neuromuscular Therapist trained in the St. John method and she literally pulled all these muscles out of the diaphram and now I am free to breath. This SI Joint problem also caused a problem with all my organs. My regular Dr. a couple of years ago said I think there is something wrong with your Aortic valve and now doesn't say that since the organs are better in place. It also messed up my forehead as all my muscles on the left side were being pulled up. Tietelbaum says it and other structural problems can set up your gut for candida. The Neruomuscular lady also pulled the abdomenal muscle out and back where it should be. She pulled all my muscles out (painful but wonderful) and now I can strengthen them properly. As women our muscles can not tolerate alot sometimes unless we had the good fortune to lift weights as teenagers. Drs. don't have a clue about this SI Joint they just said you have Fibromyalgia when I actually had the SI Joint problem.
Sue thank you so much for your post. It gave me alot of ideas. I know it is not my lungs because I went to a lung specialist and they told me my lung capacity was better than most people. I have never had asthma or even a bad chest cold(which is odd given all my other health issues). It feels like there is constant pressure pushing against my espophagal area and heart causing arm,and chest pain. I cannot sit in certain positions or lift things on days that this is esp bad. I also have to sleep in a certain position. Many things seem to intensify the problems and the unusual thing about it is, that they are very seemingly unrelated things. It is worse when I am on antibioitics or when my gut is off. It is worse when I sit in certain positions, it is worse when I have an infection of any kind(bladder or dental) and since I started wearing dental partials, it has gotten really bad. I can feel my chest tighten up when I put them in. I cant understand the connection with any of this. I have gone to so many doctors, chiros, accupuncturist, etc. and no one has a clue. I dont even know who I would go to about it.What type of doctor would be the best to go to? What is an SI joint problem?
