Lyme
Hi Liz,
I have a site here that is a Canadian
Lyme site, most see the same Dr as myself, some have gotten better with him, others keep perservering.
About your son, have him keep in contact with this site. It is USA lyme site, best on the net.

Hit flash discussions, and go from there.
Liz, I honestly have no idea how some can stay well with alternative therapies, UNLESS it is rife, or they have done alot of antibiotics and have killed most of the lyme off, or they have dealt with all other coinfections, OR their lyme strain is not as severe as others.
Like Babesia this seems to be making many sick, as well as the lyme, some Dr's are saying many that have lyme have Babesia as well.
Oxygen is not something I would trust my life with at this time, I am back on antibitoics and know that there is something else, waiting for the Babesia test to get done.
Yes, many that go off antibiotics relapse if they go off to soon and if they did not treat the coinfections.
The Salt c did nothing for me, and maybe that is because I have Babesia, and maybe if I treat babesia the salt c would help,
Not sure, just SO much immediate help when I went on antibiotics.ALSO, when on the IV Rocephin, most LLMD's have the patient on orals AND the Flagyl. Flagyl is the cyst buster, something like this, and it is supposed to be very effective along with IV Rocephin, my LLMD uses this combo and all that i have known had tremendous success with the IV Rocephin AND Flagyl. If used alone I read and most say, IV Rocephin will make the lyme go into cyst form in a couple of months, something like this, cannot remember exactly.
thanks :)
YOu are right about the cyst form with rocephin. He has been on flagyl twice. HE is on rocephin IV now and has been using it along with oxygen treatments. HE is doing much better finally. I am of course concerned about his relapsing as many antibioitic patients do. He is on a very regimented diet and takes natural supplements like olive leaf, garlic along with probioitics and vitamin and mineral supplements. I am hoping that this will sustain him. I find the variety of treatments that I read about so complex and often contridictory at times just like I do about metal chelating treatments. My son did test positive for babesia. HE had the typical nite sweats . That is one symptom that stopped almost immediately when he started treatment. This was valuable in his diagnosis. I hope that you improve Jeannie. ARe you also taking any supplements?
