Candida Probiotics

I purchased some DDS-100 Acidphilus with FOS a few weeks ago to take with some CandiGone I was taking. A few days later I began to have what I can only describe as infrequent shooting headaches. They are brief, lasting only a few seconds, and occur all day long.

I finally began to suspect that it might be the acidophilus causing this when I took 2 this morning and the headaches began almost immediately. I was taking some probiotics from NEEDS that didn't cause this problem so I'm thinking I better get some more.

Has anyone else had such experiences?

yeah could be the FOS, i have problems with it aswell. i have a bad oral yeast problem and can taste alcohol a few hours after i swish my mouth it, so for me, it does feed yeast. if you really needed to find out wether it was the FOS causing the headaches you could try taking FOS on its own and see if you still get them. otherwise go back to the FOS free probiotics.


I tried DDS1 once but stopped as my liver could not cope with the hydrogen peroxide which the DDS1 makes to kill candida.

Some people have problems with FOS. Maybe try a probiotic without fos and see if that helps. If not, you at least will know and can start looking for another cause. But, I would try that first.
