What is DDD?

muscles
I have been in PT for 6 years straight. I have the tightest calves and hamstrings in the country. What is DDD? My PT who is the best in the Midwest wonders if I have stenosis of the spine? I suppose I do as my brother has it. I try to take huge amounts of magnesium and once in awhile they release. Now my neuromuscular lady has my husband stretching my legs every morning and it helps some. I recently have stopped the exercises with weights and bands laying on the stomach as the legs just cramp and then was getting out of my car wrong for two years and now have a permanent cramp in my left calf; thus, started doing the machines at my health club with a trainer who is a PT which helps build up the gluts (my weak spots) as had a SI Joint problem for 10 years before Drs. diagnoised it. After diagnoising it all they could do was pull the leg which didn't last long. Thus about 4 years ago I got a Protonic which helps stregthen the gluts and helps with alignment but the PT was not using it properly. Thus, finally about two years ago I went to see the inventor of the Protonic Ron Hruska and while using the Protonic I was even able to run but when I had to start stregthening the muscles that is when I began to have alot of problems. I have an eternal cramp in the right leg but notice it is better after using the slat board at the exercise club. It stretches something in the hips. The structural problem usually is not where we feel the pain. At this time my neck is completely messed up as an assistant PT at the health club showed me how to do this exercise improperly and it sprung my neck. If you find an answer or the perfect magensium, please let me know.

DDD
SUE!

I really shouldn't be complaining at all! DDD is degenerative disc disease, which you have probably heard of which actually doesn't mean that my discs will continue to go at a more rapid rate, they just have thus... Actually, now that I think about it, my back problems came originally 15 years ago not long before my first candida diagnosis... Of course, I attribute it to this fall I took running for the train, but no one else has ever agree wth me on that one!

I will let you know if I just the mag and you let me know if you discover smething as well.

I thought the flare up with me was a sure since that some the candida was doing something because I just re-enter die off. It is really such a drag for us all to have such an all out body experience. I triggered something in my back three days ago that had me hobbling for two days... Good news is that I seemed to recover from it faster than I have in a while, but only because I have been trying so hard and so carefully to get stronger over the past six months... That is progress maybe! My arms and shoulders and hands seem to be the worst today, but maybe if I go back to sleep they will calm down! HA!

Jeepers, you are a brave and strong woman even when you may not feel like it... I will let you know if I discover our cure!

Magnesium Glysinate
I take Magnesium Glysinate and think it helps the muscles. Also, started Permeability Factors with Glutamine, NAG, and Phosphatidylcholine. My Dr. gave it to me in March but I just started taking it regularly after talking to a Nutrition Expert. He said our muscles are made up of 67% Glutamine. I question whether the Phosphatidylcholine is causing my sinuses to get worse as it is from Lecithin. I also noticed last night my legs did not hurt as much after exercise as I was able to do calf stretches between doing the leg machines. Stenosis is narrowing of the spine and I suppose degenerating discs. Everything in my body is degenerating at a fast pace it seems. I need more calcium but don't know how to get it. I'm trying Kefir this week again. How do you get calcium?

Magnesium Glysinate
Sue,

Dark green leafy veggies are good sources of calcium.

Magnesium Glysinate
Sue! I take a cal-mag and I am with Pace. I take "shots" of wheatgrass whch have both calc and potassium (has mag too) and consume perhaps too large a bit of broccoli.
