Swollen Lymph Nodes
I have been to the doctors this afternoon as I have more lymph glands swollen in my neck than I have ever had before. I am tired and my neck is quite painful. Last week I had a sore throat and some sneezing which subsided but my glands have only got worse.Would this be anything inparticular? My doctor has just said that I have infection somewhere that my body is trying to fight. I already know that my body is still rubbish at fighting infection since I got Candida 10 years ago.
Is there anything else I can do to help my body and try and reduce the painful glands??
I am already currently zapping and taking anti viral herbs as well as vitmain C etc.
Many thanks,
get lots of rest/sleep
I have chronically swollen lymph nodes and, when it's bad its usually a pretty good indication that my candida is either dying or having a party. B-12 (especially injections), products that support glutathione production, anti-oxidants and a strict candida diet all should help. Consider looking at chronic fatigue syndrome, which can be triggered by candida.
Good luck.
I forgot a couple things that I really find helpful for this - Hoxsey Red Clover (not cheap but works for me) and walking (to get the lymph flowing).
I would have to second the Epstein-Barr test (Mono). I had it in 2004 with all your symptoms and that was the start of my ultimate spiralling down of my health.

My doctors didn't do any tests!!! As usual!!!
Is the mono test the test for glandular fever? I had this when I was 18 and I am now 29 and I think the chances of getting it again are very slim from what I understand?? I have had lots of problems with my glands with Candida although they have been down for a few months since I started taking anti-viral herbs, until last week of course!
April, it would be interesting to know what your urine ph tested during this time, if I had to venture a guess I would say its very acid, start taking one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice in 4 ounces of water every 30 minutes until the swelling and soreness goes down. Let us know if this works.
