Lymph System

lymph system - Tom How does one know if the candida is in the lymph system? At one time mine was systemic but now I think it is under control.

Lymphatic Candidiasis
Hi Sue

Candida is generally found in the mouth, gut, vagina, skin and musosae, all of which may be considered as outside the body (in the same way that a hole through a brick is on the outside of the brick)

The lymphatic system on the other hand is very much inside the body and represents the drainage system for serum which passes from the capillaries of the blood circulation to bathe the cells of the body. The lymphatic system is where the body sites a raft of infection detection monitors. The lymphatic system is rich in immune cells, whose purpose it is to detect invasion and signal the immune system of the need for urgent response

Systemic candidiasis is a life threatening illness and most patients would need intensive care and intravenous anti-mycotics in order to survive. In general, only the most immuno-compromised patients would develop systemic candida, which is always secondary to a primary illness e.g AIDS, acute heavy metal toxicity, radiation exposure etc.

Widespread Candidiasis of the gut, mouth, vagina, skin and mucosae has the capacity to make the patient extremely ill, but is not life threatening in the same way that systemic candidiasis would be.

For anyone interested in a scientific study of systemic Candida

Re: Tom
Sue, the first outward signs for me were two brown spots about the size of a half dollar just below my elbows on both arms, these spots would at times become sightly raised and inflamed and then scaly and then go back to brown spots that felt rough to the touch. I also had these to show up just below my knees on both legs in the same location, there is no pain or itching but I do believe it is affecting the nerves in my legs. I've also had scabbed pustles to come up on the top of one arm where you can easily identify the germ tube beneath, these will spread out very slowly on the surface of the skin as white spots. I had the worst of this in the head and face area but it wasn't brown spots but white masses and you can see how it will track just under the skin, also in my nose you see small white pustles that were evenly spaced and looked like a sewn seam, these were also on the outer edge of my eye lids and would become inflamed at times, also small nodules about the size of a pea just below my eyes and around the temples the skin would look wrinkled at times and at times less so. The skin on my forehead looked like it had small bubbles just underneath and they were perfectly aligned and would at times have a brown pigmented appearance. I also had white spots in my lips and knots inside the lower lip that you could feel with the tongue. The funny thing about all this is I never had any obvious signs of candida inside my mouth, sight white coat on the tongue at times but that would come and go like most people. I also had infection of an eye years ago and no doubt in my mind it was the candida, the pain was unbearable and the eye doc was really puzzled, gave me some anti-viral meds but didn't help, I think he thought it was herpes, the pain went away after about a week and I havn't had it since. The symptoms I mention are getting into the late stages of candida and are probably rare but there is no doubt it is a slow death if you can't turn it around which is very very difficult. The alkalizing is the only thing I've found that works systemically where you can see the results, I'd say I am now about 90% improved from the worst but its a slow go with that last 10%, its yet to be seen if I can totally eliminate it.
Re: Tom
Hi everyone,

I accidently stumbled upon a website last night(DrNatura) while researching the best way to clean nicotine from walls. I emailed someone from their testimonial and was directed to this site. I am shocked, stunned, relieved, and scared.

Since my early teens, I have had most every illness of the decade and then some. At times feeling like Dr's thought I was a hypochondriac due to the generalized diagnosis.

I have depression, fibromyalgia, auto-immune, headaches, chest pains,GERD, IBS, upset stomachs, hypoglycemia, connective tissue disease, tingling in my arms, feet, and legs, restless leg syndrome, early menopause, insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks, and recently diagnosed with Bi-polar a couple of months ago. Some of these problems have been with me for 30 some years. (I am 45 now)

To make this as short as possible...I know I have Candida (thrush) and have had it for years. I'm not sure when it may have started, but for sure after mega doses of antibiotics due to a staph infection following a surgery. (I subsequently had 6 surgeries after that due to lack of healing.)

You say that it can kill you. I am quite concerned as I have been telling friends for the last 3-4 yrs I feel like I am dying inside, although I attributed that to stress, genetics, life style, etc.

I have been through a lot. Then the stress of a divorce, and lossing both of my parents within 4 years have exacerbated most of the problems and added to the all over feeling that I am dying. I started drinking about 4 years ago (beer)and am now a heavy drinker.

Tom, et al, you have been a life saver. This affects everything, and makes it very difficult to deal with normal responsibilities in my life. I have 2 teens that watch a mom who is sick all the time and has no energy. I have not been unable to hold a full time job for the last 4 yrs.

To Tom, like you, I also have 2 brown spots on my legs (upper thighs)that came out when I was pregnant with each of my children, same place on each leg. Strange? What s this? I have read many of the testimonials and stories and can't believe it. I could have written most of them.

I know I need an extremely strong treatment based on your information. What do you suggest? I have been going to the chiropractor for the past 2 months because soemthing has changed and I know have pain all over. I know now what the problem is. What would be the safest, strongest treatment? Has anyone out there dealt with what I have and if so, what did you do?

I appreciate everyone's time and for those who reply, thank you in advance. :)

Re: Tom
dga, I feel unqualified to advise you but I can relate to you my experience with this and the things that I have found that were beneficial to me. I've been searching studing and using trial and error methods for the last 20 years but I think my candida overgrowth goes all the way back to birth. I was not sick as a child but looking back now I see that my behavior and thinking was not normal and it was probably due to a low level of candida overgrowth and it really hit home when my mother recently told me that I had a bad case of thrush at two weeks of age and the tipping point was after long term antibiotic use. The first thing you have to know about this condidtion is that there are no orthodox treatments for it that work, no drugs that will kill off candida that has mutated and infected the body fluids but that does not mean you can't beat this thing. In my opinion all the symptoms you mention certainly suggests to me that you have a severe systemic case of candida and my first suggestion would be to lay down the beer and cigarettes if you smoke, you will need all the strength the immune system can muster and these two are immune system killers. The next step would be to take all the junk food out of your diet and try to incorporate nothing but healthy wholefoods especially green foods, also it would be a good idea to replace all the toxic chemicals in your home with non toxic ones, this includes makeup. I think it helps to get a mindset of what has happened and once you understand this then it will be easier to stick with a self-treatment protocol. All of the symptoms we experience with this is one reason doctors think its mental, they do not understand how anybody could have that many symptoms without it being a mental problem, thats what they have been taught and you are not going to change their mind. This is one disease where you have to take responsibility for yourself because you are on your own. Candida is a very slow progressive disease, it starts in the gut when the microflora becomes unbalanced for whatever reason and its downhill from there to all the symptoms you mention and eventually organ failure. If it starts in the gut then thats where you want to focus on to start, bowel cleansing, liver cleansing kidney cleansing and might pay to do a parasite cleanse. The next step is to recolonize the digestive track with micro-organisms that kill and control candida. I would suggest getting as broadspectrum probiotic that you can get, one that has the soil borne bacteria and also check out Kefir, this has worked better for me that the store bought stuff. You have to keep in mind that doing all this is going to take some time up to two years in some cases and that's if you are religious with it. Hyphae, this is candida that has mutated and moved out of the gut and if there was a chemical that would kill it, it would kill you in the process so we have to stick with what we have to work with and that is the immune system. Start thinking wholebody health instead of how I can kill candida, create an enviroment that is conducive to health and the body will find a way to eliminate the candida. The number one big gun I have found for the systemic candida that you and I have is alkalizing minerals, get the urine ph between 6.4 and 7 and everything else you do starts to work. You can find info on some good products at www.ph-ion.com, I'm taking the ph booster and alkalive blue minerals and seeing results. I would also get a good green drink and use nothing but distilled water for these. Also, look into Miracle II soap and neutralizer, you can do soaks with these that will open the pores of the skin and eliminate stuff you would not believe was there and you can eliminate a lot of the toxic cemicals with just these two products. Also, enemas and saunas are very beneficial. Just remember that the body is trying to keep you healthy, all we have to do is remove what made us sick and give it what it needs to do its job, it has a roadmap to health.
