Help Lyme

Hi to all with lyme,

I am now reacting to ALL foods, I was off antibiotics, when this happened, and am back on them trying to see if it is lyme.

I have never reacted like this to foods. I am in contact with my LLMD,
went to see him, but he thinks it is something else, he is not sure, so doing a lyme test and babesia test from IGENEX.

He is under investigation, so will see how it goes, maybe he will not be able to treat me.

I heard from some on lymenet that they had this and it was lyme, I am on Minocycline and flagyl, a popular combo for lyme, but still reacting to foods, my throat swells. It is better then when I was off antibiotics but thought...

Of babesia. I have never treated babesia... with antibitoics and drugs. I did the artemisinin and had
good resutls for 2 weeks then down hill fast... I heard artemisinin did not help most with babesia, they needed drugs.

Have any of you with lyme, and babesia, had food allergies? this is a different kind of reaction, like my throat swells, and I feel SO ill, paoin all over body, after a piece of zuchinni, a PIECE of healthy zuchinni I feel like I will pass out. Never had this before until the past 2 weeks or so.

One lady from lymenet had this and she said it was from lyme, she went back on antibiotoics and it got better, but not all the way.

I have other symtpoms besides this,
and also, I cannot tolerate the probiotics as well anymore, maybe this is babesia?

I am asking everyone, seeing what they say. I am ordering the babesia test next week if my LLMD is still in practice. I am in Canada.

I thought minocycline would be a good antibitoic because I get sick from the sun, and the MP uses this and many on the MP get sick from the sun.

What another nightmare.

Salt c did nothing, I was on it before I went back on anitbiotoics.

I am still on the mino and flagyl combo and seem to be herxing like heck, but not sure, going with it and see what happens.

My zuchinni was from the garden, so it is not with chemicals. :)

Thanks Dpd, will take a look at these, but not sure if this is it, but could be... maybe I have something I picked up recently, could be, maybe from the water I have been drinking from the tap, which I normallly never do... have been using this tap water in my teas, normally use bottled water, could be this, not sure.

Did you take Benicar while taking
mino? The MP folks say that Benicar
makes the herxing more tolerable.

Jeannie, you sure deserve a break! I'm just wondering if the zuchinni you ate was organic? Beyond pesticides now we have to worry about GMO etc...That is so scary to me. We *think* we are eating healthy zuchinni etc..but we could be digesting almost anything! Thats not to say you aren't eating organic, but it was the first question that came to me when I read your post. Also, have you tried coconut oil?


I have lyme and babesia, and a history of severe food allergies. This was apparently primarily due to a 4+ giardia infection. Lyme suppresseses the immune system, leaving you open to any number of co-conditions, very commonly giardia and candidia overgrowth. Dr. Klinghardt suggests giardia is very common.

Good Quality Parasite herbs brought me out of this mess. I like the intestinal support product from Eclectic Institute the most, but I also like worm squirm one and two from http://ariseandhsine.com. Finally, I like green colored black walnut hull tincture from Hulda Clark's site.

Also, I would guess that largish amounts of good quality salt combined with whatever quantity of vitamin C you can handle would help immensely at controlling parasites.
