Ballder Infection
Hi everyone,
I went to the walk in clinic today,
because of pain in bladder, and they found I had a mild bladder infection. I feel like I am dying and
am not sure if the bladder infection...
COULD go systemic. I have head pain, and body pain very bad, and ice cold all over... I have had this for a few months, thought it was lyme, but lyme antibiotics not working like before, so maybe it is a bladder infection gone systemic?
can this happen?
ALSO, the MD told me to get dristan, he said I really needed it, would help me... I have never used this before, and wonder if it kills things in the nose?
I may get it, maybe I will be allergic to it, not sure. I have massive sinus congestion, but this could be from long term antibiotics, not sure, the candida.
thanks,
Jeannie have you had a western blot done by Igeneex labs?
Are you thinking that you now do not have lyme? Some people do not respond to the antibiotic treatments which doesnt mean that you dont have lyme.
Hi I used to post here many years ago, got to feeling better and now I'm back to feeling bad again.
I also have chronic bladder problems right now with chills and a general feeling of malaise. Last month I was at the doctor for this very thing. They put me on cipro. So about 1 week into the medicine I starting itching all over and literally was up for 24 hrs. it was so bad. I stopped taking it immediately. But here I am a few weeks later and back to square one and maybe worse.
I think my hubby and I are just passing this back and forth. He has had sinus issues for years. (Which Mayo Clinic did recognize this as Candida in an article). And he drinks beer everyday and I know this makes the problem worse. He also gets horrible rashes on the crotch area that has to be treated with prescription anifungals.
I am so sad for what we all go through. But I wanted to say this group was the only saving grace many years ago. If I didn't have this place I would not have had the emotional support that was so crucial. I hope we can all be a support for each other in this getting healthy journey.
Have to see the doctor about the bladder problem today. I go to the bathroom every 10 min. and for the last 2 nights had to go all night long. And I didn't drink any liquid close to bedtime. Also sorry to be graphic but is it possible for bloody mucus to come out of the urethra? I had this happen 2 days ago. I don't think it was vaginal so that really scared me.
Thank you and sorry for the long post. I haven't visited here in a long time so I guess I'm making up for lost time.
Be blessed and well~
Jeannie,
I feel cold AND sweaty both at the same time with bladder problems. Even when i DONT have an infection i feel ill ALL OVER, when i get a test done leukocytes are ALLWAYS present, my doctor says this is a sign of irritation/inflammation. I think the all over feeling of illness is because of something i cant tolerate and it affects my bladder/kidneys as body tries to expel it. I think when bladder infections start to spread they go to your kidneys. Candida in bladder can also mimic cysitis.

Sometimes when I have the leukocytes or white blood cells in urine, I can flush it out with parsely tea or just boil fresh parsley and drain. A naturapath told me about this and it has worked for me. If maliase is present with the symptoms, sometimes you have to take some antibioitics.
INfection doesnt always show up but
often times antibiotics make bring
me out of it.The newest theory is
that the bacteria adhere to the
bladder walls and dont come out in
the urine.Doctors wont treat for
infection because they only see
white blood cells and not
nitrates.IF you are able to tolerate herbs(I am not), there are some good formulas being sold. ONe of them is called UTI Vibrence. Uva ursa anad barbery is good but should be used with alkaline urine. You can do this by using water and bicarbonate of soda.Slippery elm caps anad DGL are helpful for pain.

oops I dont know what happened here.
Jeannie,
Sorry you are feeling so ill.
My take on the nasal congestion especially with your history of long term antibiotics is that most likely it is yeast in the sinuses....Doctors do not recognize the fungal infection, but it is real. You could try collodial silver nasal spray. I think biella used to use that.
Hope you feel better, soon.
