Die-Off Hurt

Is this die-off or am I hurting my body? After years of consuming nothing but items that make candida worse I have decided to go on a very very strict candida diet. I have also been taking Chlorella, Coconut Oil and a "Super Colon Cleanse" for about a week. The last couple days have not been pleasent. My whole body aches, I have a headache, chills, massive indigestion, and some crazy things in my stools. Please tell me this is die off and that I actually am healing. Or is this a bad reaction from my body from the sudden changes, or maybe one of the pills? If it's die off how long should these symptoms last? They're not fun!

Re: Is this die off or am I hurting my b
drink alot of water, consider getting a colonic, and slow things down with your supps ect.

"Die-off" is really a misunderstood term. anytime your body releases more toxins than you can handle... you start to have the die-off symptoms. your liver, kidneys and colon become overwhelmed, and it makes you sick. just having a die off reaction should not be considered a "good" thing unless you are addressing the underlying issues why candida overgrew in the first place... otherwise it will just come back and you will go through the die off over and over again (each time stressing out your body more). this does more harm than good.

Thanks for the reply MANY more questions
What could be causing candida overgrowth in the first place? I'm very new to this stuff. Is it possible that it's just the change in diet that's affecting me so greatly? I mean I'm not really taking supplements, just coconut oil, chlorella and the colon cleanser. I've been taking the cholorella for around 2weeks (didn't notice anything), colon cleanser and coconut oil for about a week. HOwever, I haven't started to feel bad until I changed my diet. I changed my diet radically Tuesday and by Wednesday I could feel something was different, and then today is very very noticable. I read somewhere that bad die off symptoms can be a symptom of high metal toxicity. Is that something I should look into? How should i do it? Thanks.

Re: Thanks for the reply MANY more quest
I have spent countless hours on internet while feeling poorly. went on strict diet and had 5 day headache making me miserable. Re-introduced small amt. (2 cups of coffee) of caffeine and headache went away. Now I'm planning to do a strong colonics cleanse program (waiting for product to arrive). Jimmy you're doing everything right -- ease up on the strict diet but keep using the colonics and the high doses of acidophilus. As parasites let go of your intestinal walls you'll see these creepy things in your stools -- be glad, it's working! ( These parasites FEED on candida) Hang in there!

Re: Thanks for the reply MANY more quest
Many people here will suggest different underlying causes, you should look at all of them... they include your diet, past use of medications, stressful lifestyle, exposure to toxins.

considering them all, you should also consider what is the common thread? why are some people affected differently to the same toxins, diet, ect... for a few people there can be underlying gentitic conditions, or allergies... but for many people, over time, their bodies lose the ability to process toxins (whether this is from repeated toxin exposure, bad diet for years that cripples your channels of elimination, drugs ect).

seems complicated, but if you approach it holistically, you can cover it all. Obviously, start eating healthy, and cut stress out of your life where you can. this is a big subject, manys books written here.

second, cleanse. you have to get the toxins out, and undo the damage you did. Colon cleanses, kidney cleanses, and most important... liver flush.

third, get toxins out of your life, diet, water, personal care products, household materials... whatever they are, get rid of them.

Its hard to find one source that covers all of this, but I can tell you about the book i found most helpful, "timeless secrets of health and rejuvenation" by Andreas Moritz... covers many of these areas. its a great place to start.

Re: MANY more questions
I don't know if this is true, but I read somewhere that if you have mercury fillings in your teeth, you shouldn't take chlorella (sp). It leechs the metal out of your teeth making you feel worse. I know the mercury comes out when we chew, but I personally wouldn't take any metal detox supplements if there were fillings there. I'm waiting until I someday can afford to get mine removed.
Hope that helps,,,

MIchelle

Chlorella only inds loose mercury it does not chelate it. You are not supposed to take chelators like cilantro, DMSA etc ut chlorella is ok. It mops what is already loose.

Re: MANY more questions
wrong,b.

chorella is dangerous for people with mercury in mouth - and therefore in body.
It messes up the mercury - but do not hae ability to take it all out.
Jimmy must stop chlorella immediately - it is not dieoff, it might be worsening of mercurypoisoning. Rule Nr 1 : Remoe the source. Then detox.

Re: MANY more questions
v,

do you have a reference suggesting chlorella pulls hg out of amalgams?

do you have a reference proving that chlorella even enters the bloodstream?

Mercury fillings?
Are all fillings Mercury? I have fillings in my teeth, but I'm a young guy so the oldest one is only like 5-7 years old.

Re: Mercury fillings?
If they are silver they are Mercury. I won't let my kids get mercury..they are young and luckily there are choices now.

Re: Mercury fillings?
So if they're not silver than I don't have to worry about mercury? Is this for sure?
