HCL After Meals
I have been having alot of flatulence (sp?) suddenly. I wonder if it could be taking a flake of melatonian at night to sleep which is doing me wonders or not taking the HCI before meals but after meals. Are there any substitutes for the melatonian? My health food person told me to take the HCI after meals as it could hurt one's stomach so I have been trying this but think my food is not digesting well doing that even when I take vinegar and water before meals for digestion. When do most people take the HCI? Possibly the HCI causes more acid reflux if taken before meals. When should I take the digestive enzymes? I've always taken everything after I ate but now am trying to take the digestive enzymes before I eat. Many thanks.
The test for stomach acid is to take one HCL cap 15 minutes before a meal,then take two before the next meal, then three before the next.You keep increasing this way until you feel a slight burning,peppery feeling in your stomach,then you back off one capsule before the meal.This test tells you how deficient you are in HCL.

When I took the test I was up to 7 caps. of HCL before each meal.Now I don't have to take any.My diet means all sugars,grains,potatoes,and most dairy[pasteurised] are no nos.Also Deli,smoked ,cured meats etc are gone.Salt is very important;not the salt from the markets[basically a bad thing],but,salt[sodium Chloride] like Sea-salt,Crystal,or rock salt,which has not been refined.Your stomach can not make Hydro-Chloric Acid without salt and this acid is what prepares your food for digestion.
