Sourdough

Has anyone tried this? I have found a brand made only with whole spelt, sea salt and water. It tastes too good to be true but I have read that it can be o.k. and even good for the candida diet.

I ate sourdough spelt bread for years as part of a candida diet. It never gave me any of the symptoms that I associated with simple or complex carbos, so I assume that the Candida was not able to utilize its carbos to any great extent


Thanks for the info Steve, I'm going to give it a try even though it tastes too good to be true, I read that it is very good for you and even is made with a good form of candida bacteria.

I buy and eat a lot of spelt bread also.. What brand is the sourdough bread by?? I'm driving over to Ann Arbor to go to Whole Foods to go shopping next week so I'm going to stock up on cultured veges and other stuff... Unfortunately we don't have any good grocery stores here in my town.. Hope you are well and home safe..
