NAET Therapy
My son has been suffering with mold and chemical sensitivities for years. I recently heard that some people with MCS were getting good results from a treatment called NAET therapy. I don't know much about it. Has anyone here tried this? Would appreciate any information you would be willing to share. Thank you for your time.
I had my hopes up about NAET treatments too. They make it sound so promising, but I don't think it was working for me, so I stopped after about maybe 7 treatments. It was getting too expensive, and I couldn't see any real results.
It didn't make me sick, I didn't feel anything. I still don't understand how it's really supposed to help.
Sorry - Samantha
Here is a list with a lot of great archived info

I have never tried NAET but know a few people who have. I've had some success with similar modalities. I think they can be amazingly helpful but like with anything, results can vary. I think much depends on the practitioner and how ready the body is for each treatment.
If you are most concerned about molds and chemicals and don't have a lot to spend, NAET may not be not the best way to go, imo. There is a sequence that must be followed and you may rack up a mongo bill before you even get to them. Here are a few alternatives that claim to be more efficient

Also your son may get better results the more he can cleanse and reverse any dysbiosis first, optimize his nutritient levels, and reduce his exposure to food and environmental sensitivities while treating.
These hypnosis CDs imo are a really excellent complement or alternative - lay there and listen

BTW, chemical sensitivities are said to be the toughest and riskiest to clear energetically. I worked a bit with a hypnotherapist and desensitized to carpeting (at least somewhat). But you may want to consider the nutritional route first, clearing any dysbiosis, and detoxing, which should help with most if not all of them.... then try energy med. for any that remain. I think its the best bet and the safest way to go.
I spent over $1,000 on this therapy and got really sick. The so called "naet practitioner" only has to take a three-day seminar to be qualified. I had my hopes up on this and was extremely disappointed. I know a lot depends on the practitioner. I had two different ones. They use to have a naet site on yahoo and I noticed that they discontinued it because there were many people that were very dissappointed because it's expensive and it was not working. That goes the same for Bioset. Don't waste your money. I've been on that road.
Kathleen,
Thanks so much for responding to my post today about NAET therapy. It's very difficult to know what treatments may be REALLY helpful as opposed to those that are just alot of hype. The testimonials on their website -- (naet.com) are very convincing. I don't have an extra $1,000 to just throw away. Guess I'd better do some more research on this. I'm glad you also mentioned Bioset because I've been reading up on that too. Thanks again for the good information.
I`m curious how this treatment made
you ill.....I am just starting it myself
and have some doubts..but I can`t see
how it would make one sick.
