Candida

Candida
Thanks for jogging my memory about answering your post. My husband has been using the computer a lot to figure work on the taxes and insurance.

I started my journey to better health about six years ago. My nutritional chiropractor helped me get off sugar like bananas, ice cream, and all deserts. The problem was that he did not replace the banana with potassium so I was really messed up. In all it took me about two years to get on the right candida diet. I then went to an alternative Dr. in my town but was so bad off that I was not digesting much. I laid on the couch about 3 to 4 years. Then I consulted with a nurse practioner from Boulder by phone and she kept giving me Nizoral which is hard on the liver but it really helped get rid of the candida. I also took digestive enzymes and several Shaklee products. Some have gotten completely cured on Shaklee others on Herbalife. My case was different. The last three years I have gone to Dr. Nancy Russell in KC and still take a ton of supplements and get nutritional Ivs but finally have enough energy to exercise moderately. I have had the CDSA test (a stool test) about 5 to 6 times to for candida and bacteria in the gut. To begin with I had no good bacteria and a lot of candida but now have some good bacteria but still have problems so continue to try to get rid of the bad bacteria. I realize I am generalizing but will try to be more specific soon. My nutritional chiropractor thinks the reason I have not been completely healed is because of heavy metals and I agree as had bad fillings for many years but was too sick to go to the Dentist thus I am taking homeopathic drops to get rid of the lead etc.

Recently I started drinking Trinity Water (1/2 a bottle a day) and it supplies all the missing minerals.

Dr. Russell has helped me by detoxing the liver and colon with the Ultra
Clear and Ava Clear by Metagest protocol. It helped my liver alot and I take Shaklee's DTX liver support everyday. Also getting the thyroid under control is important (the aching was the thyroid). I take the saliva tests regularly and take Levoxyl (as seemed to have an allergy reaction to Armour) and Cytomel (only one tablet a day). I still was very weak after all this and am on the limited candida diet as have massive food allergies so have been taking nutritional ivs for the last three years (1 to 2 a month). I get immune support with 1,000 mg. of magnesium and now extra zinc as lab tests showed my zinc was very low. I cannot tell you all the supplements I still take but Magnesium Glycinate is very important as it helps the muscles release. I also take electrolytes everyday. I'll try to find where I posted all my supplements below and post you.

There are no easy answers. I probably got fibro from taking HRT, drinking Diet Pepsi, anti-biotics, and having a severe SI Joint problem that Drs. did not diagnoise for over 10 years. Dr. Tietelbaum (endfatigue.com) says one can get it from unrelenting pain and the SI Joint problem messes up all the organs, abdominal muscles, aortic valve, and sets the gut up for candida. A neuromuscular therapist released all these muscles, pulled out the muscles in the diaphragm, and the SI Joint problem messes up one's forehead with deep furrows. Supposedly most women are about 20 to 30% off but I probably was between 70 to 80% off.
If you want to e-mail me I could give you the Shaklee protocol for Fibromyalgia but it probably would be best to find the best alternative Dr. you can in your area and have the CDSA test and saliva tests for thyroid and adrenals. My e-mail is: fieselde@cox.net. Please post your e-mail here as I do not read all the e-mail just delete it. Dr. Russell follows Dr. Tietelbaum's protocol. He had fibro and had to drop out of medical school for a year thus only treats fibro patients now. He is in Maryland.

I'm sorry this is not very organized and precise but I am once again in a hurry.

Oh, exercise is very important even if you cannot move as it gets oxygen to the cells. I was so sick but I forced myself to go to water exercise and had to teach exercise to seniors at the nursing home. This helped me tremendously. I was walking at the nursing home about five miles a day but I needed arobic exercise.

This is a wonderful forum and I have learned alot here too.
