Egg Test
My PT has told me to eat raw eggs for a couple of years to gain weight. I worked as a Manager of a senior center and in a nursing home and am so afraid of germs and being posioned.
I know the risks are very low.
I am going to start mixing my afternoon shake in water instead of rice milk as am getting too many carbs.
How do you test eggs?
Many thanks.
Sue,
I guess old age is showing,I forgot to tell you how to test eggs before eating raw.If you suspect anything, look for hairline cracks,if any,it's a NO; before cracking, put the egg in a bowl of warm water, wait a bit,if you see bubbles, that's a NO; crack the egg gently into a small dish/bowl,if the yolk is not round and firm or comes apart, depending on how much of the yolk spreads out,it is doubtful.Very rarely do I find an egg that I wont eat raw.I get free range eggs from organically fed chickens.
As for anti-fungals,I sat across from A Gastro-enterologist after a series of tests had been done on me[about 12 years ago] to hear" I'm sorry ,but I can't help you other than to tell you to get Monistat 7 suppositories and use them".Which is Miconazole Nitrate, they helped a bit,but I went my own way after.
