White Tongue
I have had systemic candidiasis for a few months and have been feeling and seeing results by doing a colon cleansing/detoxifying regimen, Primal Defense, and diet. I've been doing this for three weeks. However the colony on my tongue is not improving. In fact, it's only getting worse. I started using tea tree oil mouth wash three times a day. But this doesn't seem to be helping. My concern is that even though I can see that I am healing the candida in my gut, the candida on my tongue is getting worse, and I don't want to repopulate my gut with candida by swallowing/eating, relocating the candida that that is on my tongue down in my gut.
My questions are: is this a danger? Why isn't my tongue improving? And what can I do to kill this colony on my tongue?
Dear leslie,
try to take care of your digestion more, some enzyms that could help your stomach to diegest easily and faster. Infact, candida could have slowed a lot your digesting cycles, making it very hard for your stomach. Chew very but very well and slowly, the first part of your digestion is there in your mouth.
Also, I have a big big benefit using something called LEVOPRAID, it is a medicines given to me by my olistic doctor which is not against any candida treatment.
Feel free to ask in case you needed any help. ;-)
Thanks for your response, Max (grazie). What's the connection between my tongue candida and the candida in my gut?
Are you saying that if I take care of my gut then the candida on my tongue should go away?
Also, is there a danger of swallowing the candida on my tongue to populate my gut? That's what I'm worried about. If that's the case, I might never get rid of this thing.
There is nothing you can do about swallowing, so don't worry about it. Yes, as gut clears, tongue should clear as well. You can try some spot remedies in the meantime. Such as, swirling tea tree oil in your mouth, or making up a solution of grapefruit seed extract liquid and water or some folks have claimed luck with a solution of Xylitol in water. This could keep the colony down while you work on the gut. Also, be aware that your tonguie can also get coated from detoxing itself. This will be a lighter coating, though, than the thick, gunky candida coating, and is just part of the process. Liver support will help to reduce this if you find yourself detoxing faster than your liver can handle.
The relationship is that almost all candida infections, regardless of where they manifest (mouth, lungs, feet(athletes foot), vaginally, etc.) tend to originate in the gut and/or intestines, then "spill out" to the other sites. That is why it is almost impossible to cure athletes foot with topicals. Those cream packages only guarantee 3 months of cure, then you have to use it again. The true source of the infection is usually coming from the gut.
