Flonase

Flonase
This year, I forgot to drink nettles and chickweed for a few weeks before hayfever season and its so bad, I broke down and got . Has anyone used it before? Its AWESOME, so nice to breath again..but its a steroid and I hope I'm not making things worse for the future...

Re: Flonase
i know this not what you want to hear, but drugs like flonase provide relief because they disable the immune system, and thereby locally reduce inflamation and swelling. the problem is, that with the immune system further disabled, the overall condition of the sinus cavity will get worse long term. fungi grow stronger in the presence of steroid and non-steroid anti-inflamatory drugs.

Re: Flonase
I'm wondering if I even need it anymore. 2 doses and I seem better. My problem was surely hayfever not any kind of sinus problem caused by candida..I have had it every september for over 30 years. The doctor never said how much to use, and either does the paper that came with it?

Re: Flonase
Sheryl-

hayfever really isn't a natural thing. It indicates a stressed out body/liver. liver support/liver flushing eliminated my seasonal allergies. if you are looking for some temporary relief (ie no cure here), powerful antioxidents will help. I would suggest finding something called isotonix opc-3. if you google it, you can find it... it will provide the relief you need until you can figure out how to relieve your underlying issues.

Re: Flonase: Isotonic Opc 3
John,

I tried the Opc 3 Product and had terrible reaction to it. It is very high in sugar and yeast. I wonder if you tried it after most of your symptoms were cleared. It has many good properties (which is why I tried it in the first place), but for someone who has active yeast overgrowth, they need to be very careful with it. Just my 2 cents :-)

funny that you mention it, but no, it was actually one of the first supps i used. i used it as a crutch so i could breath. i dropped it when i had my epiphany that supps were not the solution i was looking for. it brought great relief, but it can never be a cure. had no idea about the sugar either. you know my general stance on supps is that, for the vast majority, they are crutches and just delay getting to the root of the real problem. but sometimes people need a crutch to get on their feet... as long as they don't morph into a wheel-chair.
Re: Flonase
Thanks. This is my own fault this year. When I drink nettle infusion w/chickweed tincture for about 6 weeks ahead of hayfever season, Ihave no problem with it. This year, I was busy moving and forgot all about it. I agree all allergies are related to liver stress etc..

Re: Flonase
Sheryl,

To add to what John said, Flonase contains sugar. So it is feeding candida in the sinus cavity with it's favorite food.

Sorry, I know this isn't what you want to hear. Maybe you could follow up with GSE spray or collodial silver.
Re: Flonase
God, is that why I would kill for a donut today? lol..I don't even like donuts, but I REALLY want one right now.
