H20
Hi everyone,
Over the past two months I've been finding out just how important water is for us. Many of us are walking around dehydrated. Muscles are about 70% and quickly get dehydrated. It is the hardest thing for me to drink half my weight in ounces but everytime I do, I notice a difference for the better. It affects my vision for the better. The floaters aren't so bad. Overall I just feel better. I'm wondering if it can also help with detoxing. Of course you need to make sure you're getting enough minerals and salt, too.
The body has 3 main excretory organs; the skin, the kidneys and the liver.
The body very carefully maintains its electrolyte balance by increasing or decreasing water loss. If the body is dehydrated, sweat and urine production are reduced and water is extracted from the small and large intestine. When this happens, toxins that would normally be excreted are retained, along with the water. Increasing water consumption to the point the body is excessively hydrated increases urine and sweat production and therefore increases the rate that toxins are excreted.
Steve,
This probably explains why I rarely sweat. My body can't afford to lose anymore fluid.
I'm drinking Penta water because it's supposed to get into the cells easier, has no chlorine, no fluoride, no arsenic. It's purified with reverse osmosis/deionization with USP medicinal grade oxygen. Website www.pentawater.com
I started with this and will probably switch over to something else later.
