Flatuence

Any Ideas Anyone? I've had alot of flatuence for the last two months. How do I get rid of this? Usually I can figure it out but not this time. I have started taking Metagenics Iron supplement (only 1/2 tablet a day). Could this be the cause? I need the iron. How can I get it?

Re: Any Ideas Anyone?
Maybe you have a bacteria that is new to you, since it only was for two months? Do you know someone else with flatulence? You might keep it longer because of notso strong body/less acidic stomach.
It is always so difficult to find the cause for all our symptoms! As the answers from Joyce and Penny shows: three completely different suggestion!
And maybe it was a fourth reason and goes away by itself.

Re: Any Ideas Anyone?
What I suggested historically are known to target hypochloridia(low stomach acid) and infection. :-)

Re: Any Ideas Anyone?
OK! So we two had the same idea! Nice to agree with someone now and then.

That we did! :-) :-) :-)

Re: Any Ideas Anyone?
Investigate dandelion either as a capsule or on a salad. It contains iron and vitamin c necessary for iron absorption along with A, potassium and likely other nutrients. It is best to get nutrients from foods whenever possible and to choose foods that support body/organ cleansing/functioning.

Some folks use a little raw apple cider vinegar with honey to balance the flora in the digestive tract thus addressing flatulence. You'll have to decide if that combination is right for you. It helped me when candida was a problem. A little peppermint oil(antifungal) in water helped, too, though take care to do so sparingly. Rooibos tea has also been good to me with a little ACV and raw honey. Don't think much about supplements these days as I kicked them to the curb years ago in lieu of foods that heal.

Hope you feel better.

Re: Any Ideas Anyone?
Do you take vitamin C with your iron to increase its absorption? Also, I have had luck with eating rare beef to increase strength. Sometimes eating rare beef a few times a week will do the trick.
