Diflucan
I just came home from my doctor who gave me a script for Diflucan for one month. He said it will only effect liver if its 3 months or longer. I think you said below it hurt your liver after only a week? How did you know? Pain? Bloodwork? I so don't want to take this, but my heart thing is getting out of control and he really seems to think it is yeast related. I have gone years avoiding taking it, but at this point, I give in. Anyway, how do you feel it helped w/yeast etc..? Thanks :)
Hi Sheryl and Ann,
I am afraid I may have mis-stated what I meant, or at least should have been clearer. When I took diflucan, I was taking it when already overloaded with toxins (I knew a lot less then about that), and after my first couple of doses, my toxicity symptoms just exploded. It was too much for my liver to process. However, it did not give me actual liver damage at that time. However, after months and months of overtoxicity in general, I developed jaundice and elevated liver enzymes. Because of that I try not to do anything that could even slightly affect the liver.
Lost of peopel are fine on Diflucan. That 3 months stat is interesting. Good to know, if it is correct.
G'luck!
Thanks Sans,I think i might do an IR Sauna once every couple of days, just to keep the top line of toxins down, i suppose it will be a little less for the liver to deal with.

Sheryl, I do hope you dont mind me butting in on your post to Sans Sucre, but i am wondering what strength Diflucan you are taking, my prescription was for 50mg per day for one month, but yesterday (first day) and today i have taken 100mg, just as a loading dose, from now on i will take 50mg per day. I am also taking Oxypro and Oregano, both at full dose. So far i dont feel any adverse effects, but i am really frightened. Now i have started it i am frightened to stop it, in case candida comes back even stronger, as a superstrain. My doc is sending me another months supply. Like you i have put off taking it for a long time, but i had reached the end of the road with what else i could do, and i was afraid that the candida would learn to feed of the few foods i have left to eat.
Sorry to winge!!
Ann
