Q about Diflucan?

Q about Diflucan?

Is it possible to get twinges or soreness in areas were yeast is while taking Diflucan? Is it maybe the yeast dying? Dont have any other effects or die off symptoms so far.

diet
From below in your conversatin with Brett it seems you eat a lot of starch. have you tried eating cabbage at least for two meals daily? Just a huge plate with cabbage and a bit of meat and oil?
And of course fermented cabbage is even better! (I am going to become a missionary for fermented vegetables!)

Hope Diflucan helps you!

Re: To Tove

Hi Tove,

Thats a good idea, thanks, it would mean less food for the yeast, i was reading what Joyce had written about eating a mixing bowl full just to fill her up. I have also read it is good for leaky gut and soothing to the digerstive tract, esp the juice.

I am still unsure as to whether or not i should have the EPD in a couple of weeks in case the Diflucan interferes with it, at the same time i dont want to loose momentum, someone on the EPD forum said she just stopped taking it for the three critical days.

Hope your doing well.

Re: Q about Diflucan?
I think it is possible. I had much soreness the first time like I felt bruised and tender in my stomach/intestine area and my doc said that was normal since they were bruised and battered in a way. This time I have more "tinges" than soreness and I believe it is along the same lines. This is just my experience/opinion, but wanted to share.

Re: Q about Diflucan?

Thanks Relapser,

The stomach/small intestine area is exactly were i am getting this soreness, at times it feels like a tugging pain. Diflucan seems like a double edged sword, but i am hoping to stick with it.

Re: Q about Diflucan?
I hope it will help you. It seems that others have taken much more than the 50mgs sometimes even 200 every day! I hope it is alright for you. My fingers are crossed! The soreness will go away. I just imagine the good guys in there fist fighting the bad guys and that gives me a funny image for the soreness!

Re: Q about Diflucan?
Hi Ann....I didn't have any 'die off' symptoms when I was on Diflucan but I was also sick for close to 4 months before taking it and on the 'diet' for almost 2 of those months. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Good luck hope that you are better soon.
Re: Q about Diflucan? Steph,

How long did you take the Diflucan for and at what dosage?

I was worried i would get awfull die off, now i am worried that because i havent, its not working.....MAD.

Thanks
Ann

Re: Q about Diflucan?
Hi Ann...I only had to take for a week and it seemed to work because I don't remember having any bouts of it afterwards. I'm not sure of the dosage since it was 2 years ago. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
