Parasite Cleanse

parasites I think it is a good idea to do a parasite cleanse. Do you think my husband should do one too as he has done alot of international traveling? Will it be benefical to me doing it alone? He doesn't want to get messed up like I am.

I can take some cocoanut oil and usually take it at dinner with the carrot and vinegar and feel it helps.

Since last September I have had a lot of flatuence and cannot figure out why? I switched probotics but nothing seems to work. Healthy trinity works about eight hours. The Primal Defense worked a long time and I may go back to it. A friend says I should not drink water before or after a meal which I do in taking the digestive enzymes and HCI.

There's no such thing as a parasite cleanse. Different parasites invade different parts of the body and therapy targeted against one will leave another completely untouched. Most of these so-called cleanses induce an overproduction or secretion from mucous membranes or glands but very little else. If you think about it, amoebic dysentery will 'cleanse' your GI tract but cure neither the amoebae themselves nor any nematodes that happen to co-inhabiting the intestine.
If you have a parasite it should be properly diagnosed and treated according to what it is.
If your husband is asymptomatic, my advice would be to leave well alone.

Hi,

I was just thinking this very thing. Since a bout of diarrhea doesn't cleanse away parasites why did I ever think parasite cleanses removed any type of parasite.

Doesn't malaria cause dysentery and cryptosporidium cause it too? Yet, it doesn't get rid of the organism. You have to treat and kill the bugs or they can, in severe cases kill you.

Of course. Just make sure he tolerates the herbs and /or homeopathics. If your body reacts violently to anything, it is telling you to back off.

I think so. I know there is the school of thought that you will get reinfected from just being around other family members. However, it makes sense to lower at least the numbers of parasites in your body even if there is the chance of being exposed to them again.

Probiotics can sometimes feed ameobic parasites. So probiotics without the cleanse could be counter productive.

I've heard that too. However, mealtime is about the only time I drink water, so when I tried laying off of it at that time, I didn't get enough water. I think it is a matter of how much. Enough water to swallow your pills certainly isn't going to dilute your digestive juices too much.

Hi, do you know if the candida and dysbosis center is still in exsitance? I called the number in Texas and it had been disconnected. They have some real good information on mycoplasma.

Someone answered...
They closed down about two, possibly three years ago. Elizabeth said that with the advent of all the information available on the internet, that the Candida and Dysbiosis Information Foundation was not so critical a resource anymore. (It was a full time job for her without pay. Donnations were only enough to cover expenses.)

Just chiming in..I have always thought you both had to do it to avoid passing them through saliva etc? When DH did one, I did it with him, and I felt so much better for it.
