I have had chronic Candidas which is nearly gone and a bad case of leaky gut..

Homeopath advised she thinks my swollen belly is due to leaky gut but she is hoping it will go once last bit of Candida has gone....

YES YES YES. I was horribly distended.

I'm not suggesting your distention is exactly what I'm dealing with, but lots of sources say that intestinal overgrowth usually involves more than one thing as the breeding ground of impacted old intestinal material is condusive to yeast/fungus/candida, parasite, and bacterial overgrowth. Review the above posts for info. about various protocols I've found effective. My abdomen has reduced 2" (radius, not circumference) and is beginning to look like a normal body for a change. A kidney and liver cleanse followed by a full body cleanse might be helpful as those organs can get clogged with debris from die-off. I've currently stopped with several things (oregano oil, parasite herbs)I was doing to treat systemic problems until completing a kidney and liver cleanse. When I finish these cleanses I will resume the other treatments. Probiotics may be helpful for you if you haven't already used these in your candida treatment. Psyllium (10-30 caps daily) has been very effective for me in helping drag out old intestinal debris as the probiotics loosened it. I use 2-3 herbal laxative the next day with a magnesium citrate tablet to move the psyllium. Probiotics will also help heal the intestines.

I had been distended for so long it is still odd to look in the mirror and see my trimmer profile.


In addition to distension caused by gas many of us display a paunch! Pathogens promote inflammation to evade the immune system ,many symptoms of a chronic infection stem from inflammation ..Bacteria can influence how we accumulate fat in the intestine, Inappropriate gut flora promoting the laying down of fat. For my money the condition is fatty infiltration of the organs (NASH, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis)?

The critical role of inappropriate inflammation is becoming accepted in many diseases that affect man, including cardiovascular diseases, inflammatory and autoimmune disorders, neurodegenerative conditions, infection and cancer.This review proposes that cancer up-regulates the angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptor through systemic oxidative stress and hypoxia mechanisms, thereby triggering chronic inflammatory processes to remodel surrounding tissue and subdue the immune system. Based on current literature and clinical studies on angiotensin receptor inhibitors, the paper concludes that blockade of the AT1 receptor in synergy with cancer vaccines and anti-inflammatory agents should offer a therapy to regress most, if not all, solid tumours.With regard to cancer being a systemic disease, an examination of supporting evidence for a systemic role of AT1 in relationship to inflammation in disease and injury is presented as a logical progression. Leaky gut means that the gut wall becomes more permeable and allows larger than normal molecules to pass into the blood stream. For example, instead of amino acids from the digestion of protein passing into the blood, chains of amino acids called peptides from partially broken down proteins are able to pass through the intestinal wall. Since many peptides are biologically active, this can cause a wide range of symptoms that depend on the original food stuff. Gluten and Casein for example produce very powerful opio-peptides which act on receptors in the brain

Thanks you for your ..I am going out of my mind with this swelling I cant get any clothes on..and it gives me back ache..really getting me down.

Homeopath has been treating Candida and my levels for my massive food intolerances are now up to 90% which is good including sugar and yeast. Some like porrige, prawns, onions are now on 100%. Ive been living on so little as due to leaky gut not much left I could eat for the amount of intolerances I have. This doesnt help with constipation..but I am taking linseed and Q TON 00 colonic cleanser which is quite good..

She said once canida is gone very soon she will work on my leaky gut as she thinks that is whats causing distention ..

Ive also got massive amounts of stringy gunk coming out of my eyes all the time do you think thats die off??
