Mercury

Just had my amalgams removed.
Hi all,
I've been battling candida for 20 months now and decided to try and take the mercury issue out of the equation. Had all 10 amalgams replaced 3 days ago and then did an IV of small amount of DMPS, EDTA and some Diflucan in it as well for the candida. They also gave me some capsules of compounded DMSA. I'm working with a medical institute that is helping me with the mercury detox process.

I did the test for mercury and tested nearly off the chart so in case that is impedding my recovery from the candida I decided to address it. Will go back in two weeks for another IV and retest for mercury to see how much has been removed.

This crap has stolen the last two years of my life and a job I loved of 13 years so I decided to take out the big guns against it. I know there is a lot of controvsery about whether or not mercury is an issue with candida but I don't want to still be on these boards 5 years from now and wondering would I be well if I had tried it. I'm a little tired from the procedure but not nearly as bad as I had expected.

I'll keep anyone posted that is interested down the road if this helps me with the candida battle or not. Good luck to everyone on this board with your candida battle.

Wow! you're one courageous lady! 10 at one time? Wow! IV chelation with DMPS, DMSA, EDTA & Diflucan. Again, all I can say is WOW!

I really, really hope this solves your candida issues!

What test did you do that showed mercury off the charts?

I had a hair analysis and it showed I'm a poor excreter of mercury, so it's stored in my tissues. I was looking at Cutler's protocol for chelation.

I had my amalgams out 2-3 years ago, but didn't follow up with chelation, only sun chlorella.

I hope you post again, soon.

Hi,

The test was called a fecal mercury challenge test. I did an IV of I'm not sure what, something that bound the mercury I'm assuming and the next day collected the entire first stool and it was sent to a lab for analysis.
I was really really dreading the dental procedure but I made them give me the "goofy gas" because I didn't want to be white knuckled for 2 1/2 hours, didn't figure that would be to good for the ole immune system and it really wasn't too terribly bad.

The institute I'm working with did a "thermal imanging scan" of my head and neck and you could see where junk from my old fillings was draining down into my lymph glands. They are also a firm believer that you will not beat candida with amalgams in. Like I said, I know there is a lot of controversy about that but mine were probably 30 years old and when I saw the drainage I decided to go ahead and do it.

I've been on this board and one on Curezone and seen people battling this crap for years and I've only been doing it for two years and have barely hung onto my sanity. If this helps me win the battle, great, if it doesn't at least I won't wonder would I be well if I had done it.
