Severe Abdominal Bloating

I am very new here. For the past couple of months I have developed abdominal bloating( it's less in morning) but I get really bloated by evening. I also get cramps/pain in lower abdomen. I am on a anti-candida diet. Just eat fresh veggies/chicken/plain yogurt. I started taking Nystatin which gave some relief for about 2 weeks. I felt like great. Just 4-5 days after taking Nysatin & probiotics I developed a bad sinusitis. ( got it from my 2 year old). Had to take take more antibiotics to cure my sinusitis. Anyways, sinus is clear, but seems bloating has resumed again. All the symptoms are coming back. Has the yeast become resistant to Nystatin? I am also taking over the counter probiotics. Two days ago I also started taking BIOK PLUS ( contains L. acidophilus & casei strains in fermented milk) It claims to have 50 billion bacteria in one drink. I was looking for L. reuteri strain ( read a lot about it on internet!) But cant find it anywhere. I live in Canada. Has the L.reuteri strain helped anyone. My GP cant diagnose my condition and said will refer me to a GI specialist. He said, meanwhile I can take over the counter OVOL for bloating relief.

i don't think you'll find it in canada - i had to buy it through the Web - it didn't help my condition any, but i didn't have much trouble with boating.


Are you sure your Sinusitus is a Bacterial infection? In many cases,sinusitus can be fungal,yeast, bacterial or any combination of all three.Using ABX can be the worst way to go,as I found out to my dismay.I started out this way over thirty years ago and still have a sinus problem along with a lot of other miseries caused by the early mis-use of ABX in trying to cure it.I have a potion that I make that keeps it under control;no cure,but control.That is a mix of Colloidal silver,MSM,Xylitol and H2O2 in a nasal spray bottle to spray into the nostril,and hang my head down to let it run into the nasal cavities.
