Systematic Candida

I've found that over the long term there are periods of time when alkalizing seems to benefit me and my Candida condition, and then at other times acidifying seems to be the thing to do. Sometimes alkalizing foods harmonize my system but at other times, lots of acididying foods seem best. I think one needs to include both, but when you are chronically unwell, probably one should favor alkalizing foods more of the time. I think with really healthy people, it doesn't much matter what foods you eat to stay reasonably healthy. Your body's pH buffers easily keep you in normal range. However for those of us dealing with intestinal problems, adjusting our body's pH through food choices (and supplements) is very important.
