Eating Left-Overs

eating leftovers
I heard that on this candida diet you are not supposed to eat leftovers from the refrigerator. Is this true? If anyone has any tricks, please share! How do people do it? Can you freeze?

If I know I will eat something the next day then I wrap it up well and put it in the fridge. If it's any longer then I freeze it and defrost it when I need it. Any meat I defrost I make sure I cook really, really well.
I tend to cook enough veg at dinner time so I have some left over for lunch the next day to go with a salad and add a bit of variety. And if I cook mince, I always freeze at least one tub full so I can take it to work and heat it up well for a meal.
Just be careful is the key - make sure everything is as fresh as possible and freeze where possible.

How funny, I was going to ask the same thing. I made a large batch of something on Saturday and we ate the leftovers yesterday, and I ate the last of it today. Am I doomed?

Someone answered...
I've never had a problem with two and three day old leftovers, but that's just me maybe.

Ugh!! :0( No wonder you are sick. (just Kiddin)
Leftovers start developing bacteria the longer you leave it in your fridge, but I know you know that..

I know some foods taste better a day or two old but more than three days is not so good for us with candida...

Someone answered...
Leftovers can have some mold growth. I wouldn't worry if the leftovers were covered and placed in the fridge for a day.
