Candida Diet Symptoms

Ca diet alone bring on die-off symptoms?
I started eating completely sugar free / yeast free last week. Now I have joint pains. Is this related to die off? I've had them on and off before but this is a lot worse.

Jennie, when i first went on the diet a few years ago, yes i had enormous die-off within days. So i believe diet alone can do it.I wasnt on any antifungals at that stage. It passes. Look into liver and intestinal cleansing. Change your internal environment so it wont reoccur once you become well.

Someone answered...
yes.it happened to me, but i'm in constant die-off nearly 8 months.

I think you may be confusing symptoms caused bytreatment side effects with die-off. Thinking logically, in order to have die-off for 8 months you'd have to simultaneously create an environment in your gut that is at the same time extremely hostile (die-off) and extremely nuturing (cell division by mytosis).

i do not understand what do you mean.

Individual yeast cells don't live a long time, therefore in order to survive, it needs to reproduce. Die-off is a symptom caused by the toxins from dead yeast cells that are absorbed through the intestinal walls. If the environment is so unfriendly that yeast cells are dieing in sufficient quantities to cause symptoms, it can't at the same time be sufficiently nutritious to support yeast's reproductive mytosis. i.e you can't create a millieu in which yeast cells die in vast numbers while at the same time reproducing in sufficient quantities to support massive overgrowth, but this is exactly what "8 months of die-off" infers. To last 8 months, die-off would have to reach a state of equilibrium, in which most yeasts were dieing AND most yeasts were reproducing.

Much more likely is that the diet caused the Candida yeast to mutate to its more aggressive mycelial-producing fungal state, causing leaky gut, which in turn generates symptoms as described. In leaky gut, the gut leaks partially digested, highly bioactive peptides, some of which act on the brain in the same way as opiates, causing feelings of being drugged. In its fungal form, Candida will live through any diet since its obtaining its nutrition not from the food in the gut but rather from the gut itsself. In this case, its entirely feasible that symptoms last 8 months, however the symptoms are of leaky gut and not die-off

Someone answered...
thanks for the explanation, and what would you do in my situation?

Someone answered...
I would treat the Candida with a program like The Whole Approach combination of Caprylic Acid, Cyllium and Bentonite while at the same time investigating why you've get Candida in the fiorst place.

From a lab test standpoint I would do Candida antibodies to confirm its presence, gut flora status to see which bacteria are missing and immune system status to check how well the immune system is working. Therapy and further investigation would depend on these initial results. Find out why you've got Candida, resolve that and the Candida will virtually clear up by itself.

Thank you.i did antibody test and it came negative.........i think the test are not always "real"......
