Candida Cravings

candida cravings
I have learned that to stay ahead of candida, you must stay away from the carbs (and natural sugars) that feed the yeast and cause intense . Potato chips are the worst offender for me. The yeast love them and demand more and more. I have found myself craving certain foods like a drug addict would crave drugs, until I break the cycle.

i eat a small amount of potatos (complex carbs) every day and i dont think they feed the yeast anywhere near as much as refined foods. i eat them to be able to get a little energy and to stabilize my blood sugar so i dont get cravings. there was a time when i would get cravings and eat bag after bag of chips, then feel like id screwed everything up and feel totally depressed about everything, that doesnt happen now :)

It just shows how everyone is different. I wish I could eat them.

yea, fried starch is some of the worst stuff i think there is for us..... it is oth ad on the liver and feeds the yeast too.

i am taking 2 spoonfuls of miso per day right now and it is not giving me any die off and seems to e helping some with the yeast. i am still eating the fermented veggies ut i don't think i was getting enough, so I added the miso. are you still eating any?

Someone answered...
I don't know if you read what happened to me, but I mistakenly ate the miso right out of the jar and had a very rough night. Up all night on the can if you know what I mean. Anyway, I did try to use it correctly and make soup out of it, but kind of forgot about it. I may get some again because I do like the taste. Cultured vegetables are a mainstay of my diet now.

I buy three or four varities; Bubbies, Real Pickles, Deep Root Organic and there's also Sunja's Kimchee.

I just found out that if you don't have enough B6 you have problem with insulin adjustment: which I have (I had insulinresistance before). It also goes with the fact that I constantly lack B12 yet eat a lot of meat. To absorb B12 one needs B6. And it goes with the candida--problem: candida in some way eats or uses the B6.
I have terriblle bloodusgarproblems still, but much better after a period of taking high strength B6, but while taking it am ill with candida! A problem! When I get money I will buy other types of probiotica in addition to the fermented vegetables.

Does anyone have any more info on this? Link? Science article? My friend totally disagrees, but I am sure I have seen tha candida eats B6.

Someone answered...
I've heard the same thing. What foods have B6 in them, any ideas?

Someone answered...
don't give in to those cravings. You're not the one who wants it. It's the yeast living inside of you.

I found that any kind of chip was really bad: potatoe, corn, pretzels, etc... all that stuff. But the worst thing is peanut butter or peanuts or peanut oil.

Keep up the fermented veggies and whatever natural anti-fungals you can handle. I think they should be rotated every four days so the yeast doesn't adapt.

You are so right. I tried some corn chips once and it was no different than eating a bowl of ice cream. It's just amazing. I don't do any anti-fungals anymore, just the cultured vegetables. My problem is, I need the calories, which makes this diet a constant struggle.
