Anti-Yeast Diet

Anti-Yeast Diet - Anyone geting results?
I've been on the diet for 9 months and haven't really noticed any improvement. I'm still having days like today, where everything hurts and still getting yeast infections. Any clue as to how long it might take? I've probably had yeast overgrowth for many, many years.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, I'm on a probiotic and an anti-fungal. I do eat some grains -- wild rice and the occasional spring wheat tortilla. I've started to use flaz seeds to keep my bowels moving. I used bentonite for a bit. At any rate, it's good to know that it may take a while.

I'm only just starting to see results after 10 months on the diet. It has been hell but I'm determined to get over this.

Best wishes,

Hi, try to add psyllium husk and bentonite to your diat = huge improvement. Also enema with probiotics is very good.
Cleansing your intestine and colon will wipe away a lot of yeast and bad bacteria from your body. You will see.
I also didn't see much improvement after keeping the diat anly. Try to cleans your body every daY and you should see better results!

I have been 3 months on the diet and I am much, much better. However, I have "only" suffering from candida for two years.

Cheers,

What version of the diet are you on? If you are eating grain foods, try eliminating them. Many claim they are fine as long as they are not wheat, but others claim any grain is a no-no on an anticandia diet. Also, do you react to certain foods? Sometimes what peopl this is "die off" is actually an allergic reaction, and that food shouel be eliminated. If you still have trouble, you might consider adding some of the supplements that are discussed on the boards. Also, make sure you are taking a good quality probiotic.
