Any success with Candex?

I'm thinking of trying candigest/ candigest plus to help battle my candida symptoms. I have tried nearly all antifungal preparations and just 1 capsule of anything (minimum dose) starts to hurt my liver.

I'm so frustrated, when I first battled candida a few years ago...I could take almost any antifunal at reasonable amounts. Not any more- the liver is not having any of it.

I have heard that with candigest you can avoid the die off reactions that antifungals can give you...is that true?

I feel like giving up.


I have taken Candex also and have found it does work but it did give me some die off symptoms... I'm not cured from it but my case is severe..

You do have to make sure you take it on a empty stomach though..


Thanks for responding. How long did it take to get some rleief in symtoms? What were your die off symtoms like- did u get any of the liver/ gallbladder pain that you can sometimes get from antfungals? I've now spent a fortune on antifungals and don't have much money left. I really hope that candex will work and won't be a strong as the antifungals I've tried.
(In the following few months I've tried: caprylic acid, oregano complex, GSE, Liquid oxygen elements...just the smallest dose of any of these amd I get liver pain?

What helps to relieve your die off symptoms?


The candex only gave me mild liver pain sometimes but it seems much gentler than most antifungals I've taken...
I could tell it was doing something but I've never been completely cured yet. I'm just overly toxic and have other problems going on...
I took 2 in the morning an hour before eating, and then 2 at night before bed... I tried more than that and it was too much for my body to handle...
I think it does work, and may be better for your situation then mine.. Let me know how you do with it. Good luck!!


thanks for letting me know. I'm so desperate to get this crap under control...I'm just so fed up with spending so much money on supplements and not being able to get anywhere. I really hope that this candigest can help.


Does it work? Apparently, there is no die off with Candex?


Hi. I have used this (in fact on it now) with great success. It is a mild antifungal, but at this point, having already been thru a great deal, is all I need. Don't believe the no-die-off rhetoric - it is not true. A less strong die off, yes. The severtity of a die off is directly related to the function level of your liver, so if the liver is in decent shape, you will have fewer probs with die off from any antifungl, but if your liver is weak (common with candida), die off can be a bitch. Liver support is always a good idea, IMHO.


I have been on it for 2 1/2 months and it seems to be woking. The last couple of weeks I haven't been as good as I should of and my thyroid id acting up again.

My eyes inproved alot. The candida effects them alot.


I bought "Complete Liver Cleanse" made by Enzymatic Therapy, Inc., if you want to know the ingredients: Vit.C, Viscofiber, Milk Thistle, Burdock, Calcium D, Boldo, Dandelion, Turmeric, Artichoke.

I also bought Candex.

I want to know if you think it's ok if I take them both at the same time. If not, which should I do first?


i didn't get any positive results from candex, but i am having some success with a liver complex containing many of the same ingredients as those you've listed - i would suggest proceeding cautiously with liver cleansing
