Avacado
The sugar content in avacados is comparatively very low. It is a fat fruit, not a sugar fruit, just as olives are fruits but are mostly fat, good fat.
They are good for you, but they can also feed the candida if eaten too much.
Did you read that someplace, or is it your experience? Could it be that you are having an allegic reaction to it, and that, inadvertantly, is causing it to raise your candida level? That happens to me with some foods that otherwise would not raise candida levels. I think this happens becuase foods that we react to stress the liver, and when the liver is stressed, it is hard to detox, and the toxins circulate, and candida grows in the toxic environment.
I am 99.9% sure they feed the yeast in my body. My skin breaks out when I eat high carb foods, or anything with too much sugar, including some of the sweeter vegetables. I am always surprised that I seem to be the only one here who has these skin breakouts. In a way, I guess I am lucky because I can tell how badly I have screwed up by judging how bad the breakouts are. It's a delayed reaction however which makes it a little more difficult to determine the offending food. Maybe if I tried avocados alone over a period of time, I would find out that they were not the cause of the breakouts, but I'm pretty sure I can't eat them. (could be a liver problem on top of it)
or the allergic and intolerance reaction causes excess acids which circulate in the body. food intolerances result in weird "burns" on parts of my body... cabbage does it, no way does that feed candida. same for lamb. yet it still causes a rash and makes me feel bad.
i think for many people food intolerances can be a major underlying problem, and that problem can continue after you clear candida unless it is dealt with. this has been true in my case and in others I have read about.
Do you know anything about essiac tea for liver detox?
Brett, have you ever used Swedish Bitters? They are awesome for your health, liver and very good for helping digest fat. What about diakon radish? Macrobiotic people eat them with fatty foods. They have an enzyme that helps digest fat. They are great (they also disolve cysts etc..). What about taking a good quality enzyme? I have wondered before if you would be able to eat more foods if you were taking enzymes. I use Garden Of Life Omegazyme and they rock! You have to buy them online because they are so expensive in stores.
Honestly I don't. I looked at it online this morning, and the ingredients look good... but how they work in particular cases, i don't know. If you try it, please post your thoughts on it.
I have a friend out in Ohio who owns a health food store and she also has MS. She swears by the essiac tea detox, so I may give it a try. Will let you know.
Hi John! How in the heck are ya? Have you tried healig leaky gut? I have had great results with my allergies by taking colostrum for leaky gut.
It just recently dawned on me that you can clear candida and still suffer from leaky gut. So yes, I am working on it. UT helps it, as does cats claw tea and the BRT treatments I get. Also make my own glyconutrients.
I knew of UT for awhile, but never had the stomach for it. after doing it for three weeks, i feel like a fool, i should have tried it years ago. for those struggling with candida, i noticed in the curezone candida forum recently a few people doing UT who are reporting major progress in a short time. i think people should be open to it and give it a try, its very powerful.
How are you doing? I thought I saw recently that you were doing quite well... the colostrum I would guess? I have not tried it due to the dairy issues I have, and honestly, i don't think i'm going to need it. the ut works that well.
Yes! I am doing quite well now. I attribute it to a combo of alkalizing, healing leaky gut, and going back on HCL at mealtimes. I also had erradicated candida w/o addressing leaky gut, and result was candida came back after about a year. Healing LG also has been doing wonders for my liver issues. I assume it is because the protein particles that were slipping out thru gut lining and into the ciculatory system were taxing my liver greatly.
Yes, there is a renegade :) group doing UT with seemingly good results. Like with liver flushing, a little voice inside is telling me not to go this route, and my voice has been good to me, so I try and obey it. But, it does seem to help others, and I am so glad you are having good results from it. There is more than one way to skin the candida cat, so it is good to be open to even the most odd sounding treatment if it will help.
right indeed. as far as i can tell i don't have any candida issues, but i defineatly have something going on, food allergies ect. the UT is knocking it down fast. It could be a parasite, who knows. UT reportedly does wonders for that, autoimmune conditions and much much more. best of, its free.
Yes, and you are being a good do-bee by recycling, winky-wink. :)
honestly, and all jokes aside, i was very skeptical, and don't claim to know how it works.... but it does, in a big way. I certainly don't expect people to start doing it in hoards...but for those out there stuck, spending loads of cash and not making any real progress, what do you really have to lose? (other than a little close-mindedness). read up on it, its amazing stuff.
and I'm glad to hear you are doing better.
