Brain Racing
I have had systemic candida for many years now and multiple viruses in the brain. This has caused my brain to race, causing repetitive, obsessive thinking of irrational thoughts. This tortures me night and day. While I am working to rid myself of the fungus and viruses, is there any relief out there for the ?
I've relied heavily upon Bach Remedies for all that stuff - White Chestnut, Aspen, Cherry Plum, Star of Bethlehem, Crab Apple
- detoxing system, I wrote what's helped in candida relievers and I actually put takara patched on my head - it like saved me and paper towels soaked in hydrogen peroxide laid over my forehead
I encountered the same thing. I found myself increasingly obsessing mercilessly about ancient history I didn't care about and was unable to clear my mind of these unproductive and intrusive thoughts. It was kind of like mind spam/static.
An acupuncture treatment immediately began to correct fouled up energy flows. Only use an experienced acupuncturist and review the mind racing with them so they know which meridians need treatment. Acupressure or reflexology can also be help and can be done yourself.
I found many techniques to help with energy flow management cruicial to brain function in Donna Eden's book, "Energy Medicine", Tarcher/Penguin, 378 pages, ISBN #1-58542-021-2, $16.95. Chapter 8 shows how to calm the meridian that governs brain racing (stress, anxiety, phobias) through the body's overactive fight or flight response quickly with your hand. Another technique she calls the "Oh My God" points is useful for calming a racing mind: Place your fingertips on the forehead above the eyebrows, touching the middle of the eyebrow; place the thumbs on the temples next to the eyes and breathe deeply; hold for a few minutes. She has dozens of tried and true energy management techniques. The body's energy flow can easily get unbalanced and cause many readily corrected physical and psychological problems. This book is a must have for anyone with a health issue or those wanting to achieve/maintain optimum health. Donna simplifies complex energy concepts and systems with a refreshing lack of the usual ego typical in books on energy systems.
Donna's husband, David Feinstein has a book "The Promise of Energy Psychology", Tarcher/Penguin, 305 pages, ISBN # 1-58542-442-0, $15.95, that gives simple quick tapping techniques that can be used for a wide variety of psychological, health, and self-improvement issues. He discusses how he came to believe in these techniques as a skeptic being trained in traditional psychology. Gary Craig, one of the pioneers of the tapping techniques is a co-author. A chapter summarizes some of Donna's energy management techniques. He describes the techniques in detail w/ clear drawings and gives good explanations for why they work. There is a growing body of evidence of use of these techniques to effectively remedy phobias, traumas, bad habits, etc. virtually instantly that would take years of expensive traditional psychology. Both of these books have numerous links to other sites.
My health food store said mental confusion/static is common not only with candida and parasites, but also potassium deficiency. They've had customers who had very serious psychological issues revert to completely normal as soon as their potassium deficiency was addressed.
I don't know if this would be appropriate for your situation, but I'm treating a systemic candida or parasiste infection with oil of oregano caps (part of treatment regime, 10/11 post). This is very strong and some people don't tolerate it well. Start slowly taking a cap on a full stomach and work up. You may want to do a kidney and liver cleanse first to insure you can filter out what the oil of oregano kills. When I began taking the oil of oregano caps my jawline lymph glands became very swollen and I had classic die-off reactions of being fatigued. The swelling has decreased over the last month. As I have used several methods to clean out my intestinal and systemic infection my mind has become increasingly calm and ordered.
i thought i was alone in that ancient history stuff still embarrassing to admit but there's been success with stuff i listed
i can't believe that shit can happen -
I've had a situation that sounds very similar. Has this brain racing been bad the past 2 or 3 days?
Note that the racing seems to be related to lyme disease. Also, lyme and other tick-borne related infections suppress the Immune system responsible for parasites, candida, and viruses. I've been dx'd with lyme, babeia, 4+ giardia, blastocystis hominus, mycoplasma, liver flukes, multiple viruses including HHV-6 and 3 strains of EBV.
I'd HIGHLY recommend looking into lyme. Your story sounds very familiar.
My daughter has this, and it has caused her unbelievable torment. It's horrible the way this illness affects the body and brain in such a horrible way. She is using the Beck unit (blood electrifier), colloidal silver and ozonated water at this time to get this stuff out of her blood, as Kevin Montague instructed. We are still trying to relieve the brain symptoms - we have been told that OCD originates with the spleen, so we are looking into supplements to help with that. I know what you are going through. I will get back to you if we find something effective.
yellowish vegetables help the spleen if you haven't been told yet
Spleen is thought of as governing thought but it's all tricky
the Bach Rememdies are really helpful to get through it - CrabApple for OCD and detoxing
Brain racing is a symptom of bipolar I or II. Often the person can't sleep during these episodes. Some people really do get relief from the right drugs. Depacote is a drug for bipolar. I try to live life without drugs as much as possible, but sometimes it's the best course to take.
I'm curious about what you're saying that this originates in the spleen. If that's the case, it might indicate infection or hormonal imbalance. I love Asian medicine and correlating it with western medicine. I've read that OCD in some forms is a strep infection (Research PANDAS). We have quite a bit of... I would say mild OCD - more thinking than doing - in my family. I guess that means racing thoughts and obsessive rumination.
I personally believe that iron overload can be a factor in OCD. It's just a theory I've been looking at, since my family tends to have iron overload. (Can be genetic or acquired). I've also read that bipolar might be a mercury thing. One author said that instead of taking lithium, they might try to get the mercury out, but that is a difficult process.
Pfeiffer Research Clinic in Naperville, IL does a lot of testing of mineral levels and hormones. They have solved post partum depression (copper overload). I believe that by correcting mineral levels and hormones, a lot can be accomplished towards better mental health.
Those of us who suffer with depression, anxiety, OCD, BiPolar, etc., really DO SUFFER.
